Being given the honour to lead a team of people at work is a great responsibility, and one which shouldn't be taken lightly.

It is often a role in which we have had little or no training but are expected to perform exceptionally each day. Not only convincing others of the great plan of success, but also doing it in a way that other stakeholders feel that everything is on the right path and in the right hands. 

It's a juggling act that keeps many up at night, and can lead to frustration, inactivity, and poor judgment. 

 



 

Many of us set goals. Almost everyday we intend to complete a few small tasks that are supposed to keep us moving forward towards our goals. But almost everyday we fail to achieve them. Shifting them from today's To Do list into tomorrow's. 

 

Some of us even feel like we have no goals. Nothing to aim for. Each day we feel like all we're doing is helping other people achieve their goals. 

We are often bombarded with information and requests of our time, and this can often lead to inaction and a feeling of being overwhelmed. 

This is especially true in today's fast paced information age.

 

This barrage of information and people that demand our attention can often make it difficult to think clearly. To get to the core of a matter at hand, and to move forward powerfully we need to create the space to think. 

 

This is the epiphany, the aha or lightbulb moment that generates passion, energy, and the motivation to succeed.
